Terms
Terms of use
These terms apply to the Syllecta site, documentation, self-service registration, evaluation console, and controlled pilot use unless a separate written agreement applies.
Last updated: May 20, 2026
Contracting status
These public terms are not a substitute for a customer order form, data processing agreement, procurement agreement, or security addendum. The legal entity, governing law, billing terms, and final customer commitments must be confirmed in a written agreement before paid production contracts.
Controlled use
Syllecta may be used through the Starter Evaluation package for free evaluation, controlled launch, pilot planning, and approved early production trials. The evaluation package includes a limited monthly event allowance and does not require billing setup. Production-critical workloads, high-volume load tests, sensitive regulated payloads, paid plans, or self-service upgrades require a separate written agreement or explicit pilot approval.
Account responsibilities
Users are responsible for keeping issued credentials confidential, using accounts only for authorized tenants, and notifying the Syllecta team if credentials may have been exposed.
Acceptable use
- Do not use Syllecta to send unlawful, harmful, or unauthorized traffic.
- Do not attempt to bypass rate limits, access another tenant, or probe non-public systems.
- Do not configure callback endpoints or payloads intended to abuse internal networks or third parties.
Availability and changes
Features, documentation, screenshots, and APIs may change as the product matures. Syllecta tries to avoid breaking approved pilot workflows without notice, but public marketing or documentation pages should not be treated as a final service-level commitment unless a written agreement says so.
Support and service levels
Controlled launch support is handled through the agreed pilot channel and is best-effort unless a written agreement defines response targets, uptime commitments, escalation paths, or credits. See the Support and service terms page for the current public baseline.
Third-party providers
Provider names such as Stripe, Shopify, GitHub, PayPal, and Braintree are used to describe integration examples. Syllecta is not endorsed by those providers unless explicitly stated in a separate agreement.
Data processing and security
Tenant data, webhook payload handling, support access, subprocessors, and retention are described in the Data processing terms, Subprocessors, Privacy notice, and Security overview. Formal DPA terms must be reviewed before broader production or regulated workloads.
